About Birth Arcana
A free, independent tarot birth-card tool built around transparent arithmetic and thoughtful symbolic reading.
A small tool for a thoughtful pause
Birth Arcana is an independent reference and calculator for exploring tarot birth cards. Birth Arcana is the public name used to maintain this website and publish its editorial content. It does not imply a school affiliation or an accredited practice. All features are free, with no account, email gate, or reading limit.
Transparent method, original readings
We identify the calculation method and show its steps so you can check the result. Our card and group readings are original editorial interpretations, and our geometric card illustrations are original project artwork. We credit The Tarot School for method documentation and Tarot.com for published examples. Neither organization endorses or operates this site.
Who maintains this site
Birth Arcana publishes and maintains the calculator, card interpretations, and artwork under the project name, without individual bylines. The contact page provides the public support address for calculation errors, accessibility feedback, and editorial corrections. This is an independent project, not a personal reading service.
How calculations and content are checked
The calculator uses one shared implementation of the documented pairs method. Published group examples use that same implementation, and automated checks verify that each example produces its stated group. Tests cover calendar validation, worked reference cases, the paired-card lookup, and the three-card exception. These checks verify arithmetic and consistency; they do not validate tarot as a scientific account of personality. Interpretations are editorial reflections written for this project, with AI assistance, rather than quotations from the method sources.
Corrections and editorial scope
To report an issue, send the page URL and the specific statement or step to the address on our contact page. A calculation report should use a made-up date and explain the expected step. Corrections can then be checked against the published method and its boundary rules. We distinguish changes to arithmetic from changes to an interpretation, and keep both separate from predictions or claims of professional expertise.
Reflection, with room to disagree
A birth date does not scientifically diagnose personality or determine a future. You are welcome to use a question that feels useful and set aside a reading that does not. We make no claims of expert certification, predictive accuracy, or guaranteed outcomes.
